When you look at a piece of art long enough, you will see the seams, especially when it's a story where every one can do magic. I sit down to ramble about a few of the little things gnawing at me from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I try getting outdoorsy for my review of the Abrams/Spielberg alien jam 'Super 8'. This was my second try, as the first time I messed up the audio. I wonder: would the creature being so big mean that it comes from a larger planet with higher gravity? Anybody know?

I couldn't miss this, as I have kind of a bone to pick with this little installment. I don't want to sound ungrateful that we finally have a wide array of super-hero movies that I so longed for growing up, but I won't let a messy entry like IM2 go uncommented.
